Environments
City for Who AM I? ( my personal film)
I made the environment in Unreal using assets bought off Unreal Marketplace. I then layout the city based off the shots I plan to shoot in the city. The river is from the water creator inside Unreal. I used atmospheric Fog to create the dirty fog. The rain comes from the UDS weather pack. I wanted to go for a cyberpunk style city with more of a steampunk color palate.
Desert Temple scene Mind Scape!
This is for one of my scenes in my personal film. I created this environment in Unreal. I bought the temple assets from Unreal Marketplace. I created the landscape inside Unreal’s landscape tool and created a heightmap in photoshop to create the hills. Next I textures the landscape with a sand texture and bump map. I then lit the scene and added a fog and dust storm elements.
Bedroom for Who AM I? ( my personal film)
I made the environment in Unreal using assets bought off Unreal Marketplace. I retextured the tv, walls, window and trashcan. I then layout the bedroom to be to the exact scale or the room I was shooting in. I used a real Time tracker for my 3d cameras, a poly scan to give a reference of scale. Lastly I created a fake little city outside to mimic the original city.
UNREAL REALISM MINECRAFT.
This environment was made in Unreal Engine. I created all these assets (other than the foliage). For the blocks I would model them in Blender then take them into Unreal to texture. Lighting was made using emissive blocks that I turned into lumen lighting.
Canyon Western Town
I made this in Unreal for a Virtual Production shoot. Using assets found/bought from Unreal Marketplace or from Quixel bridge on unreal. I then modified them to my needs and created this scene. I used basic humans in the scene to allow us on set to understand the lighting. I also modified the ground with the landscaping tools to create a more nature look and so it was not flat. Next I sent the project to the Senior Artist to layout the town.
Wondering Traveler
First try at a stylized world. (Ue5)
I am challenging myself to create and finish a new render every Friday. These renders can vary from live-action shots to stylized ones like the one I made today (started last night). Everything you see in the render is created by me, except for the character, which was skillfully crafted by Quang Phan from Fab.com. The aim behind this challenge is to enhance my skills, explore new horizons, and delve deeper into the world of creativity.
Software I used: Unreal, Substance Designer, Blender
Foggy forest made for a stop-motion.
I made the environment in Unreal using mega scans. I used a UDS pack to light the the world and a stylized fog. I then layout and animated 5 different cameras according to the storyboard. These shots will be then projected on the back wall of the stop-motion set. The fireflies in shot 4 were made using Niagara simulation in Unreal. I also did a compositing shot for this, which you can see in the compositing section.
